Reset your password

If you can’t sign in to Synaipse, you can reset your password in a couple of minutes from the sign-in page. This guide walks through the self-service reset flow, password requirements, and what to do if you no longer have access to your email.

Reset from the sign-in page

  1. Go to the Synaipse sign-in page.
  2. Select Forgot your password? beneath the sign-in form.
  3. Enter the email address associated with your account and choose Send reset link.
  4. Open the email from Synaipse and select Reset password. If it isn’t in your inbox within a few minutes, check your spam folder.
  5. Enter and confirm a new password, then select Update password. You’ll be returned to the sign-in page to log in with your new credentials.

For your security, password reset links expire 60 minutes after they’re sent and can only be used once. If your link has expired, simply request a new one from the sign-in page.

Password requirements

To keep protected health information safe, Synaipse enforces the following password rules:

  • At least 12 characters long
  • A mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, at least one number, and one symbol
  • Cannot match any of your previous five passwords
  • Cannot be a commonly breached password

We recommend using a password manager to generate and store a unique password for your Synaipse account.

Single sign-on (SSO)

If your organization signs in to Synaipse through single sign-on, you won’t set a Synaipse password at all — you’ll authenticate through your identity provider (such as Okta, Microsoft Entra, or Google Workspace). To reset that password, use your organization’s normal process, or contact your IT administrator.

Still locked out?

If you no longer have access to the email address on your account, a self-service reset won’t be possible. Contact your Synaipse workspace administrator, or reach out to support@synaipse.org and our team will help you regain access after verifying your identity.
